What is oGreen.hk?
oGreen.hk is a Hong Kong organic health store selling essential oils, hydrosols, skincare and supplements, with stores in Mong Kok and Macau; all items are authentic.
How do essential oils, hydrosols and cold-pressed oils differ?
Essential oils are concentrated volatile plant extracts that must be diluted; hydrosols are the water-soluble by-product of distillation and can be used directly; cold-pressed oils are pressed at low temperature to retain more nutrients.
Which brands are you an official agent for?
oGreen.hk is the Hong Kong and Macau official agent for Florihana (France) and NOW Foods (USA), offering authentic stock and local after-sales support.
What are the shipping costs and free-shipping thresholds?
Hong Kong orders over HK$300 and Macau orders over MOP$200 ship free; below that the fee is shown at checkout, and store pickup is available.
Why choose official-agent products?
Official-agent products come directly from the brand, so batches are traceable, and you get local after-sales support instead of uncertain parallel imports.
How is buying online different from the store?
Online and in-store prices are the same and both stock authentic items; online adds free shipping and store pickup, while stores let you smell and ask in person.
Where are your stores and how much is shipping?
Free shipping over HK$300 in Hong Kong and MOP$200 in Macau; store addresses and phone numbers are listed below.
Definitions
A hydrosol (floral water) is the water-soluble condensate collected during essential-oil distillation, containing trace aromatic molecules.
A carrier oil is a cold-pressed plant oil used to dilute essential oils, such as jojoba or sweet almond oil.
Organic certification means an independent body has verified that production meets organic standards, such as ECOCERT or USDA Organic.
Cold-pressed means the oil is extracted by mechanical pressing at low temperature, avoiding heat damage to nutrients.
Organic farming means cultivation without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, verified by a certification body.
Steam distillation is the process of using steam to carry aromatic compounds from plants, then condensing them into essential oil and hydrosol.
